Romulus, MI — A man was injured this past Monday afternoon, May 18, after his car and a Romulus school bus were involved in an accident. This happened in Romulus at about 3:30 p.m., though not many details have been released so far.
It appears that this happened at the intersection of Beverly Road and Merriman Road, where police say a sedan ran a red light and crashed into a passing Romulus school bus. Since no students were on the bus, there were no injuries on that side. However, the car’s driver (an unidentified man) was taken to a hospital.
His condition wasn’t released, but the hospital did confirm the injuries were not life-threatening.
More investigation may be necessary.
