QUEENS, NY — One man was taken to the hospital immediately following a hit-and-run accident in broad daylight in Queens, new York on Thursday, April 16th, 2015. Reports said that the man was hit by the car around 3:00 Thursday afternoon.
An unidentified 88-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was struck by a blue sedan while riding his bike near the intersection of 131st and Rockway. After the cyclist was hit, the car left the scene of the accident.
The 88-year-old man was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was last reported in critical condition.
The NYPD is helping with the accident investigation.
