Houston, TX — A construction worker was hospitalized after breaking his leg while working inside a 10-foot trench at a construction site in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, April 23, 2015. The accident took place in the 1700 block of Ledwicke Street.
Emergency workers were called out to the site of the accident to help remove the man and transfer him to an ambulance. Firefighters used a rope to assist in sliding him up a ladder.
The man’s name has not been released, and at this time it’s not clear exactly how he broke his leg. Officials are currently investigating.
