Oregon, OH — Three people were injured in an accident involving a school bus in Oregon, Ohio, on Monday, April 20. 2015. The accident took place on Pickle Road, near the accident with Mambrino Road, around 7:15 in the morning.
Police identified Scott Myers as the driver who lost control of his car and collided with an Oregon City Schools bus. Myers suffered critical injuries in the accident and was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
The bus driver, identified as 61-year-old Jennifer Houle, suffered a hand injury, although it’s not clear if she was taken to the hospital.
One of the children aboard the bus was taken to ProMedica Bay Park Hospital. The student’s injuries have not been disclosed, but reports said the child had already been released back to their parents.
The reason for the accident is unknown at this point. Police are continuing with their investigation.
