SHALERSVILLE, OH — A truck driver was sent to the hospital with serious injuries following a semi-truck accident that happened in Shalersville, ohio on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015. News agencies said that the accident happened around 9:00 Tuesday morning.
An unnamed truck driver was hurt when the Bairds Brothers tractor-trailer he was driving ran into the back of a semi-truck while on the Ohio Turnpike. Authorities believe the tractor-trailer suffered a flat tire when the Bairds Brothers truck struck it from the rear.
The driver of the Bairds truck was taken to the hospital where he was being treated for unspecified serious injuries.
The Ohio State Police investigated the accident, and expect to release more information as it becomes available.
