Fair Lawn, NJ — Nine people were hospitalized following an accident involving an SUV and jitney bus in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, on Monday, April 6, 2015. The accident took place near the intersection of 34th Street and Broadway.
According to local reports, the jitney bus had pulled over onto the shoulder to load and unload passengers when it was hit by the SUV. The driver of the SUV seems to have become distracted, and it doesn’t appear that she attempted to stop before the collision.

Five others, including the driver of the SUV, were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center. None of the injuries suffered seemed to be life-threatening.
