Commentary
Unfortunately, a lot of people look at accidents like this, assume it was the driver’s fault, and move on. If you ask me, that sort of thing is a mistake. I’ve seen plenty of accidents like this that have happened for reasons completely out of the driver’s control. Sometimes cars have defects their owners don’t know about. We hear so many things about auto recalls these days, and it tends to wash over us like white noise. It’s very possible that something like that could be at play here. Obviously, this is something that warrants further investigation, and hopefully the authorities are able to shed light on the matter soon.
