Anchorage, AK — There was a serious accident on Monday morning (March 30, 2015) in the Cooper Landing area of Alaska (south of Anchorage) that left a semi-truck driver injured. Authorities told the news that a semi-truck driver hauling double trailers lost control on Sterling Highway and crashed off the side of the highway.
The truck turned onto its side, injuring the truck driver in the cab. This was at about 5:00 a.m. yesterday morning and the truck driver had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The accident is still under investigation, as it’s not clear why the double-trailer truck lost control and left the road that morning.
