I’d be interested in learning a little more about this accident. Reports say that Harvey’s vehicle was pulled over on the side of the road. Had he displayed the appropriate signage? How long had he been there? What were the nature of his engine problems? I’ve seen several accidents recently in which a truck is pulled over the side of the road when they’re not supposed to be, they don’t have the required signage posted, and someone crashes into them. Displaying those warning signs isn’t a suggestion. Drivers are required to do it. And if they don’t, then it’s possible that at least some of the liability for an accident can fall on their shoulders.
