LAS VEGAS, NV — Adilene Rubio was identified as the Western High School student that was hurt in a car accident in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015. Local news reported that the accident happened at around 2:40 Wednesday afternoon.
16-year-old Adilene Rubio was hurt when she was struck by a passing motorist at the intersection of Bonanza Road and Decatur Boulevard. Police said Rubio was in a crosswalk when she was struck.
She was taken to University Medical Center with unspecified injuries after the accident. No other injuries were mentioned in the report, and the driver of the car was cooperating with authorities.
The Las Vegas Police Department was handling the accident investigation.
