Wilcox, PA — Two women were killed in an accident with a tractor-trailer in Wilcox, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, February 12, 2015. The accident took place at the intersection of routes 219 and 321, around 1:15 in the afternoon.
Police have identified 81-year old Vera Johnson and 92-year old Rose Swanson as the women killed in the accident. Reports say that Johnson was driving south on 219 when she failed to stop at the intersection and was hit by a tractor-trailer which was traveling north.
The tractor-trailer was being driven by 37-year old Steven Kilduff. Police say he tried to avoid the collision, but was unsuccessful. Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seat belt.
