Commentary
Luckily, this accident wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been. School bus drivers are held to a high standard, one because they’re responsible with transporting children. But also because they’re capable of causing so much damage with just a single mistake. They’re paid to be better drivers than this. Look, I’m not going to sit back and say that the driver involved here should never be allowed kids again because of what’s happened, but I don’t think there’s any doubt that he needs to be held responsible for it. And if people were injured here, that needs to be made right.
