PEA RIDGE, AR — Three people were taken to the hospital after a major accident that happened in Pea Ridge, Arkansas on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015. News reports said that the accident happened at around 9:30 Tuesday morning.
Maria Molina, Savannah Spillman, and a 4-year-old were hurt when a pickup truck and another vehicle collided on Highway 84. Aurhtoieis said one of the vehicles may have lost control when it over-corrected into the oncoming lanes and struck the other vehicle.
Molina, Spillman, and the child were taken to the hospital after the accident.
Arkansas State Police are investigating the accident.

While the news isn’t exactly clear as to which vehicle may have done the crossing over, the fault will more than likely be on that driver’s shoulders. Since the dawn of the smartphone era, accidents like this one are becoming all-too frequent. All it would take to find out if the driver was on the phone was peeking into the device or talking to the service provider. If they were on the phone, they probably be faulted for the accident, but nobody is going to know if the right people don’t look in the right places.
