Swanzey, NH — Police identified Bill Gallauresi as the victim in a car accident that took place in Swanzey, New Hampshire, on Monday, February 16, 2015. The accident took place on Route 32, near the intersection of Swanzey Lake Road.
Around 10:00 in the morning, 17-year old Megan Adams lost control of her vehicle and crossed the road’s center line, where she crashed into an oncoming Buick being driven by the 53-year old Gallauresi.
The accident trapped Gallauresi inside his vehicle and he had to be extricated by emergency workers. After being removed from his vehicle, Gallauresi was taken to Cheshire Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Police say those injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
Adams was also injured in the accident and taken to Cheshire. What caused her to lose control of her vehicle is unknown at this time and police are currently investigating.
