Commentary:
Even if the news indicates that the victim in this accident may have caused the collision, it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen a news report get the facts completely backwards with their rush to put information up first. I’ve seen facts reversed, and I’ve seen evidence come to light later that shifts the way the entire accident is viewed. Do skid marks on the road match up with the narrative assumed by authorities? Does the debris scatter location match where police said the impact was? All these things can be looked into closer by an independent investigation, which is always available to survivors and family members who still have questions.
