Warden, WA — There was an accident this past Thursday (February 12, 2015) in Warden that involved a man on a motorcycle and a semi-truck. Police didn’t release a lot of details, including the motorcyclist’s name, but said that he was badly injured when he collided with the larger truck.
This happened around 4:00 p.m. last Thursday afternoon along First Street, they said. The man on the motorcycle was headed west along First Street when he entered the intersection with Road U/County Road and was hit by a northbound semi-truck.
The motorcyclist was badly injured by the impact and had to be rushed to a hospital via medical helicopter. The semi-truck driver wasn’t harmed. When police examined the scene, they found that the motorcyclist had braked hard and apparently laid his bike down before hitting the semi-truck.
