Local news reports in North Richland Hills, TX stated that two officers, Officer Oscar Saenz and Sgt. Todd Hanson, with the North Richland Hills Police Department were injured on November 18, 2012 after being hit by an alleged drunk driver. Hanson and Saenz were in their police cruisers monitoring a construction site along Loop 810 at about 3:30 a.m. when they were rear-ended by 27-year old Judith Lee Hodges’ car.

The wreck left both Hanson and Saenz with unknown injuries and they were rushed to a local hospital to be treated. Hodges was not injured and was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Authorities later arrested her on charges of intoxication assault.
