Christopher Castleberry, 50, was critically injured on October 21, 2012 after a hit-and-run accident in Pittsburg, TX. Police said that 45-year old Charlotte Shirley was driving along Highway 11 when she crashed into Castleberry, who had exited his vehicle after pulling off the highway. He was putting the top up on his vehicle, source reported.

Castleberry was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and Shirley fled the scene. She was located about 6 hours later and police arrested her on charges of intoxication assault after determining that she was under the influence of alcohol. The accident remains under investigation, police said.
