San Antonio, TX — Police reported a collision between a bicycle and a pickup truck along Broadway Street in San Antonio that left a young man injured on Wednesday night, January 28, 2015.
This happened around 8:30 p.m. at night, they said, at Broadway St. and Burr Rd. Apparently, two young men on bicycles were riding along Broadway when they stopped to switch positions. The bicyclist in the back moved from the right lane to the left lane to allow a pickup truck to pass, the news said, but the truck moved at the same time, causing a collision between the two.
The accident caused the bicyclist to be flung off his bike and he was taken to a hospital to make sure there were no serious injuries. The driver of the truck, who wasn’t named, is not going to be facing charges, according to the police.
