Robert Allen Killed in Conway Airport, AR Plane Crash

UPDATE: Robert Allen has died from his injuries, according to news reports. He passed away on November 8, 2012 from the injuries he sustained in the plane crash.

Robert Allen, 65, was injured on November 7, 2012 after the small plane that he was piloting crashed near the Conway Airport in Conway, AR. Allen was just leaving the airport when he may have experienced engine trouble. He attempted to turn the plane around, but the plane hit a tree and flew through a fence.

Allen was taken to a hospital after the accident and was in critical condition. The specific troubles with the engine have not been identified, but police said the matter was being investigated.
