Yorktown Heights, NY — There was an accident in the Yorktown Heights area of Westchester County on Thursday of last month (December 18, 2014) that left five people injured and two drivers facing alcohol-related charges. Police identified the two drivers as Dennis Marraleheiro, 35, and Adam Kazcor, 19.
According to their reports, the accident happened just before midnight on Thursday, as Adam Kazcor was driving his vehicle along Route 35, near Broad Street.
They said that Kazcor tried to make a left turn on Route 35 when it was improper to do so, causing an accident with Mr. Marraleheiro’s car head-on. There were three passengers in Kazcor’s car, making the injured total 5 — including Marraleheiro and Kazcor.
The police also suspected both Marraleheiro and Kazcor of being under the influence of alcohol and charged them accordingly. The condition of the injured passengers wasn’t given, but at least some of them had been taken from the scene with serious but survivable injuries.
