Grant, OK — Police identified Delany Jones as the woman who was injured in an accident with a tractor-trailer in Choctaw County, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. The accident happened on U.S. 271, around 12:30 in the morning.
According to local reports, Jones was driving along 271 when she crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that a load of military-grade explosives to the McAlester Ammunition Plant in McAlester.
Emergency workers transported Delany to a hospital in Plano, Texas, while military ordnance inspectors were called in to make sure the explosives were stable and did not pose a threat to anyone.
It’s not clear what caused the accident.
