Texarkana, Texas — There was a major accident at the intersection of Highway 59/Lake Drive and FM 2148 this Tuesday that left two people injured. The exact details haven’t been released yet, but it appears that two people were sent to a local hospital after their white sedan was in a wreck with a log truck.
This happened in the afternoon hours yesterday, Tuesday, January 6, 2015. The cause of the wreck still isn’t clear, but the log truck appeared to have been heading along Highway 59 and the white car had major damage to the front end.
The preliminary news reports suggested that the white car may have been turning onto Highway 59 from FM 2148 at the time, but that hasn’t been verified yet.
