Wareham, MA — Police are currently trying to discover what caused a tractor-trailer full of sand to rollover on Interstate 495 in Wareham, Massachusetts, on Monday, December 22, 2014.
The accident happened near the turnoff to Route 58, around 8:15 in the morning. Casey Weaver, the driver of the truck, suffered minor injuries in the crash and had to be extricated from his vehicle by emergency workers arriving on the scene.
After being freed from the truck, Weaver was taken to Tobey Hospital for treatment. No one else was injured in the accident. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
