DAVIDSONVILLE, MD — Both Nicholas Cassidy and Marie Higgs died in a car accident that happened in Davidsonville, Maryland on Monday, December 15th, 2014. The news article from The Capital Gazette said that the accident happened at or around 8:40 Monday night.
22-year-old Nicholas Cassidy, and 60-year-old Marie Higgs were killed when an Audi TT and a Toyota Yaris collided while driving on Beards Point Road. Police said that they believe the Audi may have driven over the median and collided head on with the Yaris driving the opposite direction on Beards Point.
Both Cassidy and Higgs died as a result of the accident. It is not clear if any other injuries were reported at the scene.
The Davidsonville Police and the Anne Arundel County authorities are looking into the cause of the accident at this time.
