YOUNTVILLE, CA — One person was killed in a car accident that happened just outside Yountville, California on Saturday, December 13th, 2014. The article from The Press Democrat said that the accident happened around 5:20 Saturday morning.
Police believe that one person died when the pickup truck they were a passenger in crashed on Highway 29. Police said that the pickup truck drove off the road and hit a guardrail. The vehicle then toppled onto one side when it was struck by another vehicle.
The passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel when they arrived. The driver of the vehicle was identified in the news as 25-year-old Natosha Guthridge, who currently faced drunk driving related charges in connection with the accident.
The California Highway Patrol helped with the accident investigation.
