CHICAGO, IL — Bessie English died after a head-on car accident that happened in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, December 14th, 2014. The news article released by CBS Chicago said that the accident happened around 7:50 Sunday morning.

63-year-old Bessie English died when the Ford Escort she was driving was struck head-on by a Honda CRV while driving in the 2700 block of West Division. Authorities think that the CRV crossed into the oncoming lanes of traffic when it hit English’s vehicle head-on.
English was rushed to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center where she died shortly after her arrival. The drivers of the offending vehicle left the scene on foot.
Chicago Police are still looking for the drivers, and hope to release more information in the coming days.
