Nine people injured in Pearland, TX. accident

On June 5, 2008 nine people were taken to the hospital as a result of a two vehicle accident in Pearland, TX. The accident happened at the intersection of FM 518 and Cullen Boulevard at approximately 11:30 PM. Allegedly, a red Chevy Impala ran a red light and crashed into a white minivan. The Impala was occupied by 8 passengers, most of which were not wearing their seat belts. Investigators believe that one of the passengers who was not properly restrained was a 3-year-old child.

Two of the accident victims were flown to a local hospital while the remaining injured passengers were taken by ambulance.
