LAPEER COUNTY, MI — Robin Bissett was identified as the woman hurt in a major box truck accident in Lapeer County, Michigan on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014. The article released by Michigan Live said that the accident happened around 7:18 Tuesday morning.
29-year-old Robin Bissett was seriously injured when the car she was driving and a box truck collided on Van Dyke Road near the intersection with Linck Road. Police suspect that Bissett’s pickup truck slid across the icy road when it struck the box truck head-on.
Bissett was rushed to McLaren Lapeer Regional Medical Center where she was being treated. The driver of the Box Truck was identified as 44-year-old Denny Moore, who was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries immediately following the accident.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
