ANTHONY, NM — Rogelio Solis died after a major accident that happened just outside Anthony, New Mexico on Sunday, December 7th, 2014. The article released by KOB said that the accident happened sometime Sunday afternoon.
33-year-old Rogelio Solis died when the vehicle he was a passenger collided with another vehicle that was travelling westbound in the eastbound lanes. It is not clear why the vehicle was driving the wrong direction.
Solis was killed in the crash. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was identified in the report as David Solis. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 26-year-old Megan Ketelboeter, who sustained serious injuries in the crash.
New Mexico State Police are still going over the details of the accident.
