Pine Hills, FL — Earlier in November, two women died in the Pine Hills area after their cars collided in a head-on crash. The deceased victims were identified as 20-year old Ashley Roberts of Orlando and 26-year old Tamiko Grant, also of Orlando.
The accident happened on Tuesday night, November 11, along Pine Hills Road. It looks like Roberts was driving her Toyota car north along the road that night when she started to lose control near North Lane.
Her Toyota failed to maintain its lane and veered into oncoming traffic, where it crashed head-on into a southbound Honda. The collision killed both Roberts and the driver of the Honda, who was later identified as Tamiko Grant.
Witnesses to the accident said that a third car was hit as well, but nobody was hurt in that car. Right now, the FHP is looking into what exactly caused Ms. Roberts to lose control of her car that night, but haven’t released any more info nearly a month later.
