Austin, TX — There was an accident involving a car this weekend that left a woman with very serious injuries, the APD reported. They didn’t provide a lot of details, but they said that a woman was found with critical injuries underneath a car along Fireside Drive, which is in a residential area of Austin.
The APD were called to the scene at about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday morning (November 29, 2014) after someone dialed them. Apparently, a vehicle crashed into a woman and two children, landing on top of the woman. When emergency workers arrived, the woman was trapped underneath the vehicle and was taken to UMC Brackenridge in critical condition.
Right now, the APD said they’re trying to figure out exactly what happened and aren’t releasing any more information right now.
