Warren County, GA — There was a fiery collision last Sunday, according to new reports from the Augusta Chronicle. Police said that Noah Treadwell, 17, from Harlem was killed after his pickup truck was in an accident with an 18-wheeler truck.
Treadwell had been driving his pickup truck along Reedy Creek Church Road last Sunday, police said, at about 12:00 p.m. As he came to the intersection with Wrens Highway, he failed to yield at the stop sign and continued into the truck’s path.
Treadwell’s smaller pickup truck was hit by an 18-wheeler truck that was headed southbound on Wrens Highway, which caused a fire to break out. The accident killed Treadwell immediately and the truck driver was taken to a hospital nearby with non-serious injuries.
Right now, police said they’re still trying to figure out exactly what happened and whether any fault lies with the truck driver.
