TUSCALOOSA, AL — Floyd Underwood was killed in an accident with a dump truck in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Monday, October 6th, 2014. The article released by ABC 33/40 said that the accident happened around 1:00 Monday afternoon.
72-year-old Floyd Underwood was killed when the dump truck he was driving crashed on Interstate 59. Authorities said that the truck left the road before it crashed into a barrier and erupted into flames.
Underwood was killed in the accident. He was alone in the truck when it crashed, and no other vehicles or injuries were mentioned in the news reports surrounding the accident.
The Alabama State Police is still going over the details of the accident at this time.
