Midland, TX — On Wednesday night, police in Midland reported a car-pedestrian accident that claimed the life of 27-year old Francisco Iglecias. Police said this happened at the intersection of Midland Drive and Neeley Avenue.
Iglecias was apparently trying to cross Midland Drive – in a marked crosswalk – while a green SUV and a black Chevy Camaro were both headed south on Midland Drive.
According to the reports, Iglecias was hit by the green SUV and thrown to the ground, where he was then run over by the Chevy Camaro. The green SUV then fled the scene, but the Camaro stayed there.
The accident killed Iglecias and police are currently looking for a green SUV that probably has damage to the front-right section of it.
