Commentary:
Whenever a big truck pulls out into traffic and causes an accident, there are plenty of questions to be asked. Was the turn legal? Was the truck turning into the lane it was supposed to or did it swing out wide? How did the truck driver not see the oncoming vehicle from his high vantage point? Was the driver of the truck paying attention to the road? All the answers to these questions could put the trucking company squarely in the cross hairs of a liability claim if the driver is found to have not been doing his doing his job then the trucking company needs to face some harsh consequences.
