CALDWELL, TX — One student was taken to the hospital follwoing a chain reaction accident involving four vehicles on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014. The article from KXXV said that the accident happened sometime Tuesday morning.
Authorities working with accident investigation teams say a student was hurt when the school bus they were aboard collided with the rear of a truck near the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 36. Officials think a pickup truck was struck by a car when it stopped to retrive a fallen toolbox. A pickup truck then collided with the back of the car before the school bus hit the back of the second pickup truck.
The unidentified student was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Nobody in the other cars was immediately hurt after the crash.
Texas Department of Public Safety Officials are still investigating the accident.
