Commentary
Unfortunately, tractor-trailers aren’t the tanks many people believe them to be. There have been several safety issues with these sorts of vehicles over the years. And one of those is that if they’re ever improperly loaded, cargo can shift, causing the truck to turn over. Is that what’s responsible for this accident? We don’t know. But it’s a definite possibility. And if it turns out that whoever loaded the truck works for a different company than the driver, they may find themselves liable for his injuries.
