Orange, TX — A local man from Orange was killed this past Sunday (October 19, 2014) in the early morning hours after a hit-and-run accident on I-10. This happened at about 1:45 a.m., police said, when a driver crashed into a motorcycle on the interstate and kept on driving.
Not many details are being released right now, but police think the vehicle that fled the scene was an SUV: 2013-2015 Nissan Xterra.
They said that the victim, 56-year old Tommy Reeves, was riding his motorcycle along I-10 early yesterday morning when a vehicle came upon him and crashed into the rear of his bike.
The accident left Reeves with fatal injuries and he passed away, though the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle still hasn’t been found yet. Police are telling anyone with helpful information to call the DPS at 936-699-7340.
