BERN, PA — Two people were rushed to the hospital after a collision with a Box truck that happened in Bern, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 16th, 2014. The news report released by the Reading Eagle said that the accident happened around 11:00 Thursday morning.
Two people were injured when the car they were driving crashed into a box truck head-on while driving on Route 183. Authorities think the southbound car may have swerved into the northbound lanes where it hit the truck.
The driver of the car had to be cut free, while the passenger managed to pull himself from the wreckage. Both men were taken to the hospital where updates on their conditions were immediately unavailable.
The Pennsylvania State Police is still helping with the accident investigation.
