Commentary
I’ve spoken at length about workers’ comp on this blog before. People who know me know that I’m not a fan of it. It seems as if there are more instances than we can count of people who are screwed over and have their livelihoods seriously impacted because of a system that quite frankly just isn’t good enough. However, in an accident like this, that, by all accounts, wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been, it is nice to have a benefits system in place that will be able to offer some assistance to the employee and their family.
