Harris County deputy injured in accident

On May 5, 2008 in the late evening, a Harris County Deputy was injured in a car accident. The accident occurred when the officer lost control of his squad car and hit a curb. This impact blew out one of the officers tires causing him to drive into oncoming traffic.

The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. The other driver was not injured.
