MOONACHIE, NJ — Four people were taken to the hospital following an explosion and fire in Moonachie, New Jersey on Monday, October 13th, 2014. The article released by NBC New York said that the accident happened sometime Monday morning.
Four people were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out following an explosion at the Crest Foam factory on Carol Place. It is not clear what caused the blast, but several ceiling fixtures were knocked down in the explosion.
Four people were hurt and taken to Hackensack University Medical Center where they were being treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the explosion has yet to be revealed by authorities.
