STRUNK, KY — Both Palace Anderson and Samuel Anderson were killed in a serious car accident that happened in Strunk, Kentucky on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014. The article from WKYT said that the accident happened around 10:00 Tuesday evening.
68-year-old Palace Anderson and 47-year-old Samuel Anderson died when the car they were in was struck head on by a vehicle while on Highway 27. Police think a Chevy Trailblazer crossed the median and struck the Andersons Buick La Sabre head-on.
Palace Anderson died at the scene, while Samuel Anderson was taken to University of Tennessee Medical Center where he died a short time later.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Shea Coffey, who was also taken to UTMC where he was being treated.
The investigation into the accident is being handled by Kentucky State Police.
