Lubbock, TX — There was a two-car accident east of Lubbock this past Saturday evening (September 27, 2014) that left a woman with injuries. Police said that a pickup truck overturned along County Road 6840 after another driver caused an accident.
It happened around 6:00 p.m. in the evening. Allegedly, a red Pontiac was driving along County Road 6840 when it tried to pass a pickup truck in a no-passing zone. The car caused the pickup truck to swerve and over-correct, which led to the truck overturning.
It landed on its roof and the woman driving the truck was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police said that, so far, no charges have been filed against the Pontiac’s driver.
