Goodrich, TX — There was a fatal car accident reported over the weekend in rural Polk County, out by Lake Livingston. Texas DPS troopers are saying that one person was fatally injured on Highway 59 near the Trinity River Bridge on Sunday (September 28, 2014) after an accident of some sort.
Not a lot of details were released about the wreck, but it apparently happened in the southbound lanes. Later that evening, the accident site was cleared up and traffic was flowing again.
