Atlanta, GA — A young woman was critically injured after she was in an accident with a MARTA bus this past Wednesday night, September 24. The name of the woman wasn’t released, but police said that she was in her early 20s.
The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, at the intersection of Ralph Abernathy and Lee Streets. The young woman allegedly had some headphones in that night and had started to walk across the street when she was hit by a passing MARTA bus that had a green light.
The accident left the woman critically injured and she was taken to a hospital nearby. Again, police believe that the bus had the green light at the time, but that’s still being investigated.
