HARRISON COUNTY, TX — A woman was seriously injured in an alleged accidental shooting that was reported in Harrison County, Texas on Thursday, September 25th, 2014. The news from CBS-19 says that the accident happened around 10:15 Thursday morning.
Right now police think the woman was short with a high-powered rifle as her husband was placing it into a gun case when the rifle discharged. The bullet struck the woman in the abdomen.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she remained in stable condition.
The incident is currently under investigation at this time, and police hope to release their findings at a later date.
