North Bellmore, NY — Two young men were both killed in an accident with a landscaping truck in North Bellmore, New York, on Monday, August 25, 2014. The accident took place on North Jerusalem Avenue, around two in the afternoon.
The two young men have been identified as 20-year old Stephen Clark and 19-year old Robert Treimanis. Reports indicate that the two crossed lanes into oncoming traffic, where they crashed into a landscaping truck.
Reports indicate that both men survived the crash, but passed away a short time later. Three men were inside the landscaping truck at the time. None of them sustained any major injuries. Police ticketed the driver for driving without a license.
Police are currently investigating the accident in an attempt to discover what the cause was.
