TULSA, OK — A collision between a car and a dump truck sent two people to the hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014, according to Fox 23 Online.
Oklahoma State Police say that two people were hurt when a dump truck swerved to avoid another dump truck when it was struck by a Honda passenger car while driving on Highway 266 on Wednesday afternoon.

Two people in the Honda were taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where they remained in critical condition. The driver of the dump truck was immediately uninjured.
Representatives from both local and state offices are still determining the cause of the accident.
Commentary:
One fact reported about this accident has grabbed my attention. The fact that one of the dump trucks was avoiding a collision with another when it supposedly swerved into the path of the victim’s vehicle. If this is true, I’d be willing to go out on a limb and say that the offending dump truck driver failed to use his turn signal if it was a snap-decision to swerve. If the driver of the dump truck failed to check his mirrors or engage his turns signal was not engaged, the dump truck company could be liable for this accident.
